Terri Antunes

Terri Antunes was born and raised in southern New Jersey. After graduating from high school, she attended Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Terri knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was in third grade and was thrilled when she landed her first teaching job, teaching third grade!

While in New Jersey, she taught second, third, and fourth grades before she stepped away to be a stay-at-home mom for 12 years. Terri most recently taught at Scotts Hill Christian Academy in a three-year-old classroom. She has a passion for teaching and is so excited to be joining the staff at Northside this year! Terri also has an NC teaching license. Terri met her husband Josh in college, and they have been married for 19 years. They have three kids. Ryan is a sophomore in high school, Ben is an 8th grader, and Emily is a second grader. She spends a lot of time with her family and enjoys doing anything outside, especially going to the beach, taking bike rides, and having family game and movie nights. Terri is an avid reader and can normally be found on her screened porch reading a book under the ceiling fan. She also serves in the kids' ministry at Scotts Hill Baptist Church as a substitute for Sunday school. They have been members there for 4 years.
