Paula Garris

After graduating from high school in the small town of Clinton, NC, Paula earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lees-McRae College, where she also played four years of collegiate softball for the Bobcats. She later pursued a career in physical therapy, graduating from Fayetteville Technical Community College with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2014. Paula began her career at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and brings over eight years of experience working with patients facing neurological and traumatic diagnoses in both acute and inpatient care settings. 

In addition to her healthcare background, Paula has served in ministry as the Middle School Ministry Director at Northside Church for two and a half years, where she was passionate about helping students grow in their faith and discover their God-given personal identity and purpose.    

Currently, Paula works per diem as a PTA while continuing her primary calling as a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband Will have been married for ten years and are grateful to be raising their three children—Liam, Ella, and Jack—to know and love Jesus. Paula loves spending time with her family, baking sweet treats, enjoying coffee from her favorite mug, and fire pit nights in the Fall. Paula and her family serve and attend Northside Church.
