Tammy Hodge

Born in Florida and a Wilmington transplant for more than 25 years, Tammy comes from a multi-generational legacy of ministers and has spent more than 35 years serving in children's ministry in various capacities. Now heading into her eighth year on staff as the Children's Ministry Director, Tammy is happily fulfilling her God-given calling and using her gifts to share the good news of Jesus with the children and families at Northside.

Along with her amazing team, Tammy focuses on creating engaging, Gospel-centered environments where young children can explore their faith, learn Scripture, and build meaningful connections with their peers and leaders. Through her dedicated service, she continues to play a pivotal role in equipping the next generation with a strong spiritual foundation and helping children discover Jesus as their Savior and their “very best friend.”

Tammy loves spending quality time with her husband and boys. Her favorite places to visit are the mountains in the fall or a cruise ship where the whole family can relax and enjoy time together. Tammy and her husband, Eric, have been active members of Northside since 2008. They have two adult sons, Nicholas and Ethan, who also attend and serve at Northside.
