Kelly Kannan

Kelly is an early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience shaping young minds. Originally from St.Charles, Illinois, she brought her enthusiasm and dedication to Wilmington two decades ago, where she’s made the beach a place of inspiration and joy. Kelly creates a play-based learning environment that sparks curiosity, fosters social skills, and builds confidence in every child she meets. From art projects to outdoor explorations, Kelly transforms everyday moments into learning. When she’s not guiding little ones, you’ll find her enjoying beach and water activities, from searching for shark teeth, boogie boarding, or boating out to the islands. She’s always up for a family adventure of fishing, camping, or hiking winding trails. Kelly has been married to her husband, Patrick, for 25 wonderful years. Proud mom to her son Noah. Kelly has been a member of Scotts Hill Baptist Church for 17 years, where she contributes her time and talents to support families and nurture community bonds.
