Originally from Vermont, Brittany Turley made Wilmington her home in 2020 and has quickly come to love the people and community of Southeastern North Carolina. She is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a Christ-centered environment where they feel known, encouraged, and valued.
Brittany earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech before pursuing a Master of Arts in School Counseling from The George Washington University. Her educational background, combined with several years of experience working with elementary-aged children as a teacher assistant, has equipped her with a deep understanding of child development and a genuine desire to help every student succeed. She enjoys building positive relationships with children and partnering with teachers and families to create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive.
As a follower of Christ, Brittany believes that education provides a unique opportunity to nurture both the mind and the heart. She strives to model God's love each day through kindness, encouragement, and compassion while helping students build a strong foundation of faith and character. Brittany is excited to serve at Northside School of Christian Leadership and considers it a privilege to be part of a school that is committed to equipping the next generation of Christian leaders.
Brittany attends and faithfully serves at Port City Community Church. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two children, playing with her cat, Oreo, baking sweet treats, and making memories with family and friends. She looks forward to investing in the lives of NSCL students and partnering with families to help each child reach their God-given potential.
