Becky Sanderson

A true Wilmingtonian, Becky Sanderson was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, and has spent her life serving the community she proudly calls home. After graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Elementary Education, Becky began what has become a remarkable career in education spanning more than 33 years.

Throughout her career, Becky has taught in both public and private Christian schools in the Wilmington area. She has dedicated her life to helping students develop a love for learning while building meaningful relationships with the children and families she has served. Her years of experience, nurturing spirit, and commitment to academic excellence have made her a trusted and respected educator.

Becky is excited to continue investing in the lives of students at Northside School of Christian Leadership, where she enjoys helping children grow academically, personally, and spiritually in a Christ-centered environment. She considers it a privilege to partner with families in laying a strong educational foundation while encouraging students to develop a lifelong love for learning.

Becky and her husband, Dale, are active members of Central Church and share a love for cheering on the Carolina Tar Heels. Together they have three married children and seven wonderful grandchildren—six grandsons and one granddaughter—who lovingly know her as "Mimi." Spending time with her growing family is one of Becky's greatest joys. When she's not at school, she also enjoys traveling and making memories with those she loves.
