Cheryl Jacobs

Cheryl Jacobs has been working with children ages 3-10 for more than 40 years.   Working in her mother's pre-school for a few years during high school she developed a desire to continue working with children that has lasted a lifetime.  Cheryl attended Columbia Bible College in South Carolina where she met her husband Bill, a Wilmington native. They have been in the Wilmington area since then.   She is looking forward to providing a safe, loving, and fun atmosphere for kids to love learning at Northside School of Christian Leadership.   She has a history with Northside Church.  She and her husband were members when it was still Murray Memorial Baptist Church.  Cheryl taught Sunday School and Awana and was the director of Children's Church and Director of the Home School Group over the 25 years she served there. Privileged to work from home for several years, she homeschooled their son from K4 through High School. When he graduated she began working at Seacoast Christian Academy. She progressed in her desire to see kids grow in their knowledge of God and to see the strengths and talents He has given them.   She considers it a privilege to help prepare them for Kindergarten and work on the fundamentals that will give them a launching pad for all kinds of learning experiences in their futures.

Bill and Cheryl have a special needs daughter whom they adopted when she was 12 years old. She has been married for six years to a devoted husband. Their son married a wonderful young woman. They are working and living in the Wilmington area as well. Cheryl loves spending time with family and serving where God provides opportunity.
